SortMyCar is not a mechanic or garage, we simply act as a courier for your car.
Your booking is confirmed, and you will be given a booking reference.
This includes our driver's photo, name and a code to verify the identity of the driver.
We aim to be at your collection address within 30 minutes of your chosen time (subject to conditions). Our driver will show their id, booking reference and give you their verification code, which must match the code we sent to you.
This is to verify the condition of the car and check for any damage. You should be present when our rider does this, and your signature will be required to confirm the car's condition, before the driver can depart.
Our driver will place the folded bike in the car boot or suitable place within the car. The driver will also cover the car's seat.

When our driver arrives at the garage they will take more photos to confirm no damage during the drive to garage, you will receive a message to let you know your car has been delivered.
Once the bill has been paid, the garage will notify us that the car is ready to collect. You need to ensure that you have paid for any work, as we will not dispatch a driver until we receive confirmation from the garage.
The garage will verify the driver’s id before handing keys over. The driver will perform the same checking steps as above including taking photos to make sure the car has not been damages during the time in garage. We will send a notification to you that the car has been collected.
Your car can be delivered to your home or work place. Someone should be present to receive the car unless we are instructed otherwise on where to leave the key i.e. a neighbour or letterbox. The driver will take photos of your car prior to handing over the key.
In the case you are not in, the driver will park the car at a convenient spot, and notify you. If the driver cannot access your main door, we must have alternative instructions for the handover of the keys.
In the case that our driver is unable to handover the key to you or a nominated person, the key will be returned to the SortMyCar office and held securely overnight. Our driver will then deliver the key to you the next morning and we will notify you of the delivery time. There will be an extra charge for the safe keeping and re-delivery of the key.
