No, SortMyCar is a collection and delivery service for your car only. We are not mechanics or responsible for repairs on your car.
Our eco-riders are fully comprehensively insured to drive any vehicle.

Our eco-riders have the right to refuse collection if the car is not in a safe, driveable condition, e.g. if a tyre is deflated.
Should the car break down due to no fault of our eco-rider, a 3rd party breakdown service will be used to recover and deliver the car with the cost being passed back to you.
Our eco-rider will aim to arrive within the 30 minute slot chosen at the time of booking, subject to traffic conditions. You can track the eco-rider's progress using the link sent to you by text message on the day of collection. If for any reason the eco-rider is delayed, we will notify you by phone and we can dispatch an emergency rider, or arrange an alternative.
Collection and Delivery can be made to your chosen locations. For collection someone must be present to hand your car key to our eco-rider. Delivery can be made to a different location from collection if required.
It is preferable if someone responsible is available to receive the car and key on delivery, however if no one is available the key can be dropped chosen location e.g. letterbox. Please be aware we take no responsibility for keys deposited in this way.
Our eco-rider will do their utmost to park your car as close as possible to your chosen location. Our eco-rider will notify you of your car's location once parked.
For collection or delivery, you should authorise another person e.g. a neighbour or office receptionist who can receive or hand over your keys. You need to provide SMC the person’s name and if your car is being collected, you should share the eco-rider's authorisation code with them so that they can verify the id of the eco-rider.
Please be aware, as you won't be available to verify the condition of the car before our rider can depart, our photos/video of the car will be used as evidence of the car's condition before departure. We will not be liable for any damage to the car that is not reported at the time of collection.
We do not recommend garages or book your garage appointment. Your appointment should be made directly with the garage before booking our service.
We do not pay the garage for any work done on your car. All garage bills must be paid for before we are able to pick up your car. We are not liable or responsible for any work done on your car by your chosen garage.
Our prices are based on zones in each city. These zones are determined by the SortMyCar computer systems to ensure that our eco-riders can make the most economical trips using their e-bikes.
A single trip starts at £34.99, or £63.99 for a return trip. Our system will calculate additional prices for longer trips, and these will be shown to you before booking.
Cancellations or modifications can be made free of charge up to 48 hours before your booking.
At the time of booking we will send you a secure link by text message and email that allows you to modify or cancel your booking.
